Amina means "Amen" in Maninka, the main language of upper Guinea. This word is often uttered in response to a blessing or kind words--may we be so overwhelmed with blessings that we can't stop uttering Amina. These earrings are a reflection of the time spent living there, as well as the impact that African culture has played on my family.
These earrings are MADE TO ORDER: that means it may take up to a week to ship as your earrings will be made just for you...these are not mass produced, but rather made by hand, in the U.S.A. by me, Hannah.
These clay earrings are lovingly formed, baked, hand painted and hand glossed for a unique look you won't find anywhere else.
When you buy a pair of these you are truly getting an item made with love and thought!
Size: Approximately 2 inches long by inch wide.
Because this product is handmade color and texture may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. This item is made by a human and not a machine so expect some inconsistencies and flaws. After all, our imperfections are why makes us beautiful!
Clay is fragile so treat with care. If your clay jewelry is dropped or anything heavy is set on top of it, it can break. We recommend storing your Hey Grl Hey Jewelry in a safe place when it is not being worn and putting it in a container with a lid when traveling.
Raw brass may tarnish or darken over time if exposed to water or oils from the skin, the pieces can be easily cleaned with a soft jewelry cloth and/or tarnish remover.
